Follow These 5 Weight Loss Steps Everday

If you want to achieve weight loss , then these 5 steps will make losing weiht a reality and not just a hopeful wish. Nobody will ever get results just from wishing, unless there is a magic lamp involved.

Get Your Mind Right

So many people forget the most important element about weight loss, their minds. You will fail to lose weight unless your mind is focused on doing so. Spend a few minutes each morning on the reasons why losing weight is important to you? What will you get out of it? How you will be different in a few months down the line? Imagine these pictures in your mind. Avoid focusing on the difficulty of achieving it. Remember that we never feel proud of ourselves when we do things that are easy. The harder the goal, the greater the sense of achievement.

Stay With Your Calories

Before starting your weight loss plan, you should have evaluated how many calories you were eating a day on average. Try a 10% cut in this number. Stick to this and don't be tempted to cut too many more too quickly. Sure, if you have been sticking to the same amount for a few weeks, and the results are slowing down, then drop them by another 5%. Keep in mind that your body prefers to change itself over certain periods of time. Don't try to change too many things too quickly, your body won't like this. Try to stay above 1500 a day, going below this number is not a healthy option and will result in starvation mode.

Always Eat Breakfast

Never ever miss breakfast. It isn't called breakfast for no reason. During your sleeping hours you have been on a fast. So you are breaking this fast when you have your first morning meal. Get it, break--fast? So your body is desperate for food first thing in the morning as it has been strved of nutrients for a good number of hours. If your body stops getting those calories, it will start to think that there is something wrong. Your metabolism will grind to a halt, and so will your weight loss goals. Start getting into the habit of eating some food, even if you are not that hungry. Some bananas or a bowl of cereal will do to begin with.

Drink Lots of Water

We are always being told about drinking enough water. 8 glasses, 10 glasses, 20 glasses? I'm not going to get into numbers here, but I will tell you that 70% of your body is actually water. If all this water was removed from your body, you would look like a big potato skin. Just a 5% shortage of water would leave you tired, unable to focus, and irritable. Weight loss is harder when you are in that mindset. Your body needs plenty of water to function effectively. So whatever you are drinking at the moment, increase it by 50%, and see how you feel after a week.

Stick Your Plan Daily

Before you started your diet or weight loss regime, you would have written a plan. You did write a plan didn't you? The world is run on written plans, that is what creates order and makes the world work (well some of the time at least). If there was no plan to follow, you wouldn't be able to reach your goal. Plans give us steps to follow, like maps. Losing weight is a goal, so it requires a plan, right? You would have written a daily plan every week. You would keep a record of your food consumption and amounts of exercise that you are performing. Ithink you understand this. Having things written down make them real, instead of them just floating around in your head, plus it gives you a record of your achievements.

Always keep in mind that other people's opinions stem from their thoughts about themselves, find your own. Just because they don't believe that they can do something, doesn't mean that others can't. You are an individual, different to anybody else, so you make up your own beliefs and thoughts. You have the option as to what you let into your head. Each day spend time telling yourself that this is your time, you will reach your goals, and you will do this by sticking to your plan no matter what. Don't concern yourself about negative thoughts, accept that they will come. Let these thoughts wander around in your head on their own, if they don't get any attention, they will go away in a huff. If other people have found it difficult to lose weight, well, that's their problem. If you want to be like others, and sit around discussing why weight loss is too hard, it's up to you. Or you can be you, an individual with your own goals, thoughts, and beliefs, who takes action on a daily basis in order to lose weight.
