The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the first 11 days, but EVERY 11 days. Can it be possible? Does the idiot proof diet handbook truly work?

I sure was rather skeptical when I heard it from my brother.

However, after searching so long for something that will work, I went ahead and bought. The handbook shows you a diet cycle that lasts 11 days and you will be able to continue to keep losing more weight. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.

Did the diet handbook work? Did I Lose the exact 9 Pounds as Claimed?

I didn’t exactly lose 9 pounds but was really close. I was dropping 8.3 pounds through the first cycle of the idiot proof diet. I even started to see results within the first week of the diet.

The handbook is pretty easy to follow as there is no difficult rules or procedures. Besides that, I didn’t have to pay additional money for any other programs or equipments besides the.

The food on the diet is simple everyday food that can be located easily in supermarkets. Also, as there is not much cooking required, I could get my food ready and eat them in less than 5 minutes.

Diet…Do I need to Starve Myself?

Whenever I spoke to my friends about my new found weight loss diet, they would start questioning me if there was a need to starve ourselves and how impossibly unattainable that would be.

In this particular diet however, there isn’t any need to starve. And…you will be eating four times a day! Yes, just by eating more meals a day, your body will be constantly working on the food. The increase in the metabolism rate in your body helps you to burn more calories than before.

Then, comes the following question…what are the types of fodd we needed to shun?

You definitely cannot be wolfing down pizzas day after day and still expect to drop pounds. However, you will still get to eat your favourite food before the second round of the idiot proof diet. I will get to that in awhile.

Now, you will get to eat your carbohydrates. You will have the choice of eating meat (Yay!), egges, cheese and of course, fruits and vegetables. This diet makes that that you will lose weight without having to affect your nutritious intake. So there is no need to worry about becoming sick from being on the diet.

Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part

You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? You will be craving for food that you cannot have. Yes, the fact that what you can’t have simply makes you want it more.

I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after awhile I would usually give up as I don’t see the results and I am just sick and tired of avoiding all sorts of food!

This is really where the diet gets real cool. Once the 11 days of diet is over, you will be able to enjoy a 3 days break from the idiot proof diet. When you are on the 3 days cheat from the diet, you will get to indulge in ANY FOOD. I am currently in the break right now and I am loving it!

Will I Put On Weight During the 3 day Break from the Diet?

If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.

Also, I found out that during the 3-day break (I’m on my second), though I did indulge in my chicken wings, I actually crave for fruits. Maybe it was a habit cultivated from the 11 days of the idiot proof diet. Plus, I didn’t seem to have much appetite, perhaps due to the habit of eating 4 times a day from the diet.

My close circle of friends joined me in the weight loss journey and it worked great for us. We had no need to binge or unhealthy food as we didn’t have to resort to starving ourselves while on the diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.

So the 3 days mini break from the diet is an extremely great idea…especially when it is for a person like me. I don’t really have much self-discipline so most of the time, I end up cheating in all my diet.

It was the very first diet that I don’t have to cheat. I sailed through the idiot proof diet and lose weight without much effort on my part!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. The diet gives you lots of flexibility and it allows you to me your own choice based on your likings.

Plus….you will be able to enjoy night snacks!

Yes! I was completely elated when I saw that. I am a night owl and those normal diets will have me growling in hunger. I would be so hungry that with my growling stomach, I would not be able to sleep properly. Normally, I end up wolfing down whatever I can lay my hands on as I am so hungry, eating more than I should have.

And…You will get to drink wine!

I’m sorry if I got you thinking that you can drink bottles of beer each day. You will be able to enjoy your drinks, but not too much. Having one glass of wine per day would be find.
